PADI ReActivate

Who should take a PADI ReActivate?

If you haven't been diving for a while and want a refresher or if you only dive on holiday and want to get straight into the water, the PADI ReActivate™ program with Dive Academy is the perfect way to update your dive skills and knowledge.

What will I do?

You'll begin by reviewing some scuba concepts and theory at your own pace at home on a tablet, phone or computer. You'll then complete a quick review and pool session at Dive Academy with one of our PADI Professionals. You'll practice the skills you learned on the PADI Open Water Diver course and focus on anything that you specifically want to review. We'll help you to regain comfort and confidence in scuba diving and make sure you're ready for your next dive. There is no set time limit for the ReActivate session - we want you to be happy with your refreshed skills, however most people find that 2-3 hours is plenty of time.

After your session is completed you will receive a new certification card with the date of your ReActivation. Many dive centres appreciate seeing this to show that you're ready to get into the water and start diving again.

What do I need to bring?

You’ll use basic scuba gear including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, BCD and a scuba cylinder. Dive Academy will provide all equipment required for the ReActivate session at no additional cost. All you need to bring along is swimwear (including a t-shirt you are happy to wear in the pool) and a towel.

If you have your own kit which you would like to use we do ask that it is fully serviced before you take it into the pool.

What's next?

If you'd like to keep your skills fresh Dive Academy organises regular dives for members. Speak to one of the team to discuss how to join us on dives. You may also be interested in continuing your dive education with one of the PADI Speciality courses that we offer. Have a chat with one of our PADI professionals to see what's right for you.

Are there any restrictions?

Participants must be qualified divers. If your certification is with an agency other than PADI get in touch with us and we can arrange a scuba review. All participants must satisfactorily complete a medical questionnaire prior to commencing any in-water activities.

Please ensure you click the info box and read all of the tabs especially the medical questionnaire prior to booking.
