Much of the world’s best scuba diving is accessible only by boat. Scuba diving from a boat is fun and relatively easy because you usually descend directly onto your dive site. The PADI Boat Diver course will expand your knowledge about boats from small inflatables to large liveaboards. During this one day course you'll gain experience and complete two dives from a boat in our local area. You'll learn more about: - Boat terminology - Boat diving procedures and etiquette including where to stow your gear safely - Appropriate entry and exit techniques - Boating safety, including how to locate safety equipment This course is open to PADI Open Water divers (or equivalent) aged 10 and over. We recommend that you have your own DSMB and spool/reel and cutting tool for this course. Standard kit hire is not included in the course price. If you are a Dive Academy member you will receive free standard kit hire for recreational courses taken with us. Talk to a member of the team about joining Dive Academy.
