Red Sea Liveaboard

In October 2023 we’ll be spending a week in the Red Sea with Blue O Two who are known throughout the diving industry to have some of the best liveaboard boats in the industry. The Northern Wrecks and Reefs itinerary is probably the most popular trip including the must-dive Thistlegorm. We’ll fly out to Hurghada on Friday 13th October and transfer to M/Y Blue Adventurer which will be our home for the week. On board we’re housed in twin cabins, there’s also a couple of double cabins and a couple of single cabins (at a supplement). All cabins have en suite facilities, air conditioning and in-cabin entertainment. There’s plenty of room to relax, from the spacious saloon with dining area and lounge, to the sun deck and upper sun deck where most guests spend a lot of time. After we board on Friday we’ll have a chance to unpack, set up our kit and have a good night’s sleep before leaving port early Saturday morning. There will usually be a check dive mid morning on Saturday and then two more dives in the afternoon and evening. From Sunday to Wednesday we’ll typically have four dives a day available, with a further two dives on Thursday morning before spending Thursday afternoon and Friday morning at leisure out of the water before flying home. Typical dive sites include the wrecks of Thistlegorm, Dunraven, Giannis D and Carnatic with reef dives including a visit to Sha'ab El Erg (more commonly known as Dolphin House). The trip is also suitable for partners who want to spend a week onboard relaxing. The cost (excluding flights) is £1239 per person for twin/double cabin and the deposit is only £200 with further payments due in April and July.
