All the details:
Join us for some of the best wreck diving in the world as we visit Scapa Flow in Orkney from 14-22 May 2021. Scapa Flow is the resting place of the German fleet interned there after World War One and then intentionally scuppered on the orders of Admiral Von Reuter. The highlights are three battleships and four cruisers, with other support vessels and local dive sites also on the plan. We'll be diving twice a day from Sunday to Thursday, with the opportunity to see both fantastic wrecks and the creatures that have made these wrecks their home. We'll be spending the week onboard the MV Valhalla. There are 12 spaces in twin rooms and the cost is £775 per person for board and diving (excluding food, gas and travel to/from Orkney). The crew offer a modestly priced food package for the week (£26 per day) - this and your gas bill is payable on board to the crew. The food is amazing, locally sourced and it's cheaper and more plentiful than you'd get by going to local establishments. Participants need to be at least Deep Diver certified to dive these wrecks. If you would like to join us but are only Advanced Open Water Diver certified don't worry, we have a Deep Diver course in April that you could join to prepare for the trip. Travel to Orkney is not included although there will be car sharing opportunities available.
